Fins’ swimmer, Neža Dolenc Luznar spent her summer holidays in Slovenia and returned to Kirkcaldy Pool last week with two Slovenia National Swimming Championship medals.

The Championships were held at the Olympic Pool in Kranj, at the beginning of August and Neža, competing in the 14/15 years girls age group won a silver medal in the 50m Freestyle, missing out on the title by just 0.46 seconds. Her second medal came in the 200m Freestyle where she won the bronze.
Neža also finished 5th in both the 100m and 400m Freestyle, recording an excellent 8.88 second PB in the 400m event.
She competed under her Slovenian club at the Championships – Sporto Drustvo Riba Ljubljana.
