Fins had just one swimmer competing last Sunday and that was Arran Stowe who made it three in a row in the Scottish East District overall Open Water Championship. This was the first Open Water event of 2018 and very successful for Arran.

He was competing in the 2-kilometre Scottish Grand Prix event at Lochore Meadows. Just one swim but Arran picked up four titles winning the Grand Prix, for swimmers 17 years and over, The Senior Open Men’s Title (17 to 24 years), the Scottish East District Senior Men’s Title (17 to 24 years) and the overall Scottish East District Title for swimmers, male and female, 17 and over, including master swimmers, 25 years and over.

Arran therefore gains 25 points for his Grand Prix win, gold medals for his Senior titles and a trophy for the overall Scottish East District title.
